We create and maintain our clients' lifestyles by providing interior design services, staging homes for sale, and providing estate management services. SADG was founded by Steve Alt and Julia Caro to capitalize on their strengths. Julia has been designing and delivering interiors spaces for homes and business since 1998. Steve has extensive property maintenance and repair experience while fulfilling many of the services for remodeling, repair and staging. Our focus is our client's needs.

SADG believes in a distinctive and personalized design experience for each and every client. We are dedicated to the finest customer service and outstanding client satisfaction. SADG offers full service interior design, consultation, kitchen & bath, staging and styling.

Julia Caro, Principal Designer

As the Principal Designer, Julia's primary focus is to interpret each client's intent and personal style to facilitate fulfillment of their vision. Her initial effort is to deeply understand the client.  This understanding becomes the driving force of the project, guiding the client through the myriad of choices and finally resulting in the appropriate design solution. We recognize that everyone is unique, and ultimately the designed environment should be a celebration of that individuality.  Julia's passion for design stems from her innate sense of creativity, a strong sense of curiosity, her love of learning, and the sense of enjoyment she feels when helping others.  She is a strong believer in the design process and truly values the partnership that develops throughout the course of each project.

Julia is a Southern California native and the daughter of an architect.  Her educational background includes formal education in Interior Design. Her training in design also includes being a member of ASID and NKBA, both highly respected design associations.  She has worked in the interior design industry since 1986, starting her own firm in 1998 and ultimately joining Steve Alt Design Group in 2015. 

She has organized many varied events for the Orange County Chapter of ASID as well as participating in events such as the Philharmonic House of Design, ASID OC's "Chairs for Charity," LDC's "Designer Runway" and Philharmonic's "Entertaining by Design."

Julia relishes time with her animals and family, while her greatest passion is riding and showing horses, which she has enjoyed since childhood.

Steve Alt, Principal
Operations & Estate Maintenance

Steve Alt brings decades of concierge and operational Experience to SADG. His primary responsibilities include operational activities relating to interior design, construction management, staging fulfillment, and estate maintenance.

Steve's concierge and customer support skills were honed in the Golf Industry, as an Assistant Pro at Big Canyon Country Club and by spending a decade as a professional golf caddie for the LPGA.  These roles helped him develop the unique skill set required to support VIP clients in the achievement of their goals.

His personal clientele have taken Steve on international trips to handle their concierge level logistics and needs. This level of experience helps Steve deliver impeccable service and support to all SADG clients.

When Steve isn't working or golfing, he will be surfing.
